LIBERATING MESSAGES OF SATURN IN ARIES AND URANUS IN GEMINI

What have Saturn in Aries and Uranus in Gemini been showing you so far? What themes or messages have been coming up?
Saturn’s preview into Aries during the summer of 2025 felt strong, and I noticed a significant shift again when Saturn fully submerged into Aries in February 2026 for a few years. Aries, ruled by Mars, is and direct, so it’s no surprise that the themes of Saturn in Aries have been loud.
Saturn in Aries reminds us that there’s no destination. You’ve likely noticed some of your goals, plans, desires, and priorities changing, especially if you have planets in the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer). Things that used to be front and center in your mind no longer are. Things you were working towards have fallen away.
Your destinations have changed. Or, you don’t have a destination, rather. And, this can be freeing.
Saturn in Aries is a liberator. It can motivate you to say NO to things you used to say yes to. This can show up with your habits, routines, but also when people in your life ask you to do something. Maybe your hobbies are changing too. Or, maybe you’re simply more comfortable being yourself and speaking your needs.
I once heard Idris Elba say, “The power of NO is a liberator,” and I think this sums up Saturn in Aries pretty well. What have you been liberating yourself from this year?
You might have been separating yourself from people, situations, and things that don’t work for you anymore. You’re no longer tolerating what you used to tolerate.
Or, maybe you’ve simply lost the desire for certain things, and this has freed up space within yourself. And, you don’t need to fill the space with anything or anyone else. The space itself is freeing.
Maybe you’ve become more clear on your values and beliefs, and you’ve been liberating yourself more from systems of oppression.
Saturn in Aries has also been pairing down, less is more. But, not in a scarcity kind of way, in a pleasurable way. Less feels more abundant. This was also because Jupiter was in Cancer during the beginning of Saturn’s ingress in Aries offering us comfort with less.
Of course, Saturn in Aries has indicated many challenges, and maybe you’re thinking that this has been more of a challenging time for you than anything else, and that’s real. And, Saturn in Aries does offer some profoundly liberating messages and opportunities.
You might also be feeling like older versions of you are shedding away. This can also be because of Uranus having moved into Gemini. Uranus in Gemini is also a great liberator. Gemini needs a lot of freedom, and Uranus is all about breaking free, just like Mars, which rules Saturn in Aries.
Where have you felt more adventurous, curious, and expansive?
This year has been full of different energy with Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Jupiter all changing signs for the first time in a while.
If you feel like you don’t know who you are or what you want anymore, that’s okay. Let yourself be in the unknown. Give yourself time to unravel different layers of yourself over time.
How has your internal landscape changed? What have you changed your mind about? What priorities have shifted? What desires or destinations have fallen away?
