DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’RE ENTERING A NEW CHAPTER OR BOOK OF YOUR LIFE?
Do you feel like you’ve entered a new period of your life, or are on the verge of one?
There are several different astrological techniques that reveal what kind of chapter (or book, rather) that you are in at any given time in your life. Some of those techniques include the progressed Moon cycle, and zodiacal releasing (a Hellenistic astrology technique). These two techniques have described some of the most significant chapter shifts in my life.
Several years ago, I entered a progressed New Moon phase, which means that a 30-year chapter, or book, rather, ended in my life, and a brand new one began. This is why I had experienced a number of losses over the previous several years. It was all to prepare me for the next book of my life.
Not every person, place or thing makes it into the next book of your life. When a cycle is complete, certain relationships are complete, certain jobs/businesses/career paths are complete, certain hobbies or interests are complete, certain identities are complete, so on and so forth.
Entering a new cycle means a whole lot of newness in every area of your life.
Several years ago, I also entered a new zodiacal releasing period in the sign of Capricorn. Prior to the current Capricorn period, I was in a Sagittarius period for 12 years, which was a very adventurous time of my life. That was an exploration period for me. I was living a very Sagittarius and Jupitarian life. I explored a lot of different things in my private as well as my public life that didn’t end up being me, but I’m glad that I explored them during that time in my life. I lived a much more adventurous life.
When I entered the Capricorn period, my priorities and desires changed. They went from the Jupitarian let’s say YES to a variety of experiences to a Saturnian, NO, I’m good, I know more of who I am now and what I want, and it’s pretty much none of those things lol.
While there are some similar threads in my life now from that time, I am different in a lot of ways and my life is different. I have different hobbies, habits, priorities, career pursuits, and ways of doing relationships.
Because I have multiple planets in Capricorn (and none in Sag) and I’m Cancer Rising, when I entered the Capricorn period, I felt like I was coming home to myself, and I’ve been discovering “new” things that feel like home. It’s been pretty miraculous how much things have shifted for me, and how my zodiacal releasing and progressed Moon reveals these shifts. Isn’t astrology amazing? That’s why I’m so in love and so in awe with it.
Some periods in your life are more about exploring a variety of different things, whether that’s with career pursuits, hobbies, home life and living situation, relationships, or personal identities.
Other periods will feel more clear and focused. Wherever you’re at is completely okay. And, no matter what period you’re in, you’re likely here to live a varied life with multiple purposes. All of my clients are here to explore different avenues in this life.
That doesn’t mean it feels easy. It can feel frustrating not knowing what’s next for you, and when you’re in a place of what’s next or who am I?, this can be an incredibly important and creative time in your life. Embrace it. There is no one destination. You’re here to live a creative life.
