HOW TO FIND YOUR RISING SIGN & LOOK UP YOUR BIRTH CHART
If you know your time of birth, then you can find your Rising Sign and look at your whole birth chart. Look on your birth certificate to find your exact time of birth.
Once you have that, follow my instructions below:
Go to https://astro-charts.com/. Click on “Birth Chart.” Enter your birth details, then click “Create Chart.”
The website will pull up your chart. Under “Settings” at the top, click on “Houses” and choose “Whole Sign,” then click “Apply.” This is the house system I use, and it will make it easier to see which houses the planets are in.
The chart you’re looking at will show you a bunch of things, which might look overwhelming, especially if you have never seen your chart before. Don’t worry about all of that. The most important things you want to know are your “Big 3” - your Rising Sign, Sun Sign and Moon Sign.
To find your Rising Sign, you want to look at the sign that occupies the 1st house. You can also scroll down below the chart to look at the sign it says your “Ascendent” is in. This is also your Rising Sign. The Ascendent is the point (the degree) of your Rising Sign, but they are the same sign. Your Sun sign is the Sun symbol and your Moon sign is the Moon symbol.
You can also scroll below the chart and see what signs your Ascendant/Rising Sign, Sun and Moon (and other planets) are in.
So, now you can see which planets are in which signs in your birth chart. You can also see which houses they are in.
If you’re brand new to astrology and feel overwhelmed, just focus on one thing at a time starting with your Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign.
